Sometimes I just like to go out on a limb and attempt to make something without a recipe and with very few ingredients. Luckily, I was successful this time. I’ve had experiences that were not nearly as good. So let me give you the low-down on some quick and simple turkey burgers.
Ingredients and Directions
Approximately 1 lb of ground turkey
1 egg
Italian seasoning
Salt & Pepper

Combine ground turkey, salt, pepper, Italian spices, and egg in bowl and mash together with hands.
Shape into patties and move to a pre-heated pan on stovetop
Pan fry until cooked all the way through
Continue to season to taste
Tips & Tricks:
My egg to meat ratio was a bit off, so my burgers kept falling apart. Next time, I will use less egg.
I also added cheese to my first burger, which I felt took away from the turkey flavor.
Since I’m typically cooking for one, this recipe made about four burgers. I fried them all up, and put them in the fridge to eat over the next few days.
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I would say my first attempt at homemade turkey burgers was not too shabby. But then again, they’re not very hard to make. These burgers were easy to throw together at the last minute and can be served with all different kinds of sides. They’re also a great alternative to anyone who does not like ground beef or is trying to cut out red meat!
