The summer months are far too hot and humid to drink tea, but once fall rolls around and the air gets crisp again, I start drinking tea non-stop. Over fall break, I went to the Christmas Tree Shops with my mom and was greeted by a huge bin of tea as soon as I walked in the door. Two boxes in particular caught my eye, and I just had to try them. They were the Bigelow Apple Cider herbal tea and the Salted Caramel black tea. These limited edition teas were definitely worth the purchase.
The apple cider tea was particularly delicious. This caffeine free tea had hints of apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg, giving it a sweet-and-spiced flavor that definitely complimented the season. The only thing about this tea is that you cannot over steep it. If it steeps too long, it gets incredibly bitter, and becomes undrinkable. So be sure to follow the directions!

The salted caramel tea was also incredible. I could definitely taste the salt in this tea, and the caramel flavor
was noticeable. This tea is definitely a guilt-free treat (unless you like to load sugar and creamer into your tea, then it's not so guilt-free). I made this tea with a splash of creamer and boiling water, so it worked well as coffee substitute in the morning, or as a mid-afternoon pick me up.
I don't know how much longer these tasty teas will be around for, but I highly recommend them to any tea drinker. Whether you like fruity or sweet, these teas are sure to be crowd pleasers!
