Influenster's Homecoming VoxBox

I was lucky enough to once again receive a box full of products to test, courtesy of Influenster. I was so excited to receive the Homecoming VoxBox because it was full of products I knew I’d actually use. This VoxBox included:
RedVines Candy
Kettle Brand jalapeno potato chips
Luden’s throat drops in strawberry banana
Olay Active Botanicals gel cleanser
Sinful Colors nail color and topcoat with gel technology
As you can see, there were a lot of cool (and tasty!) products in the Homecoming VoxBox, which conveniently arrived a few days before Homecoming, before I ran out of facewash, and before I got a sore throat.
My favorite product in this box was definitely the Kettle Brand chips. I’m not a big potato chip fan, but these chips were crunchy and had a great, unique flavor. Even though the bag says “hot” the chips were not so spicy you couldn’t eat them without wincing, but were hot enough to satisfy those of us who like our food with a kick.
I also really enjoyed the Luden’s throat drops. While I don’t know how effective the drops would be for a severe sore throat, they definitely helped to relieve my throat when it started to feel just a bit sore and a bit swollen. Not to mention they tasted just like candy.
The last food item in my box, the RedVines twists reminded me of a less sugary version of Twizzlers. I really enjoyed these because they were less sugary. As much as I like sweets, some candy just overdoes it. These were just sugary enough to be an enjoyable treat without being too over the top.
The beauty care and skin care products in this box definitely get an A+ from me. I am a huge fan of Sinful Colors nail polish because it’s good quality for the price paid. I received the color “Too cool for pool,” a blue polish with purple shimmer. Although it isn’t my ideal Fall/Winter color, it’s still a gorgeous shade that really shines once you add the topcoat. Not to mention the color lasts quite a few days before it starts to chip.
The Olay face wash may be one of my new favorite face washes. The gel cleanser leaves my skin soft, moisturized, and clean. I’ve never used Olay face wash before, but I have used their face lotion, and I must say they provide top quality products. The only downfall is that, on a college budget, I often have to opt for the less expensive facial care products. I am so glad I was able to receive a full-sized Olay product complimentary from Influenster!
The Homecoming VoxBox is by far one of the best VoxBoxes I have received yet! I just love seeing what each box will hold, and getting the qualification survey in my e-mail is always such an exciting thing!
