Introducing Our Newest Ongoing Series: The Beauty Review!

Any beauty guru will know what I mean when I say “empties video.” Beauty vloggers love to rave and rage about their past beauty product experiences. I have to admit, I did perfect my earth-toned smokey eye thanks to some online beauty fanatics. So I thought, if they can talk about what they loved and what they hated, why can’t we, as a blog, do the same thing? Inspiration for “The Beauty Review” came from a combination of love for watching beauty vlog videos on YouTube and my brief dabble in the vlogging world. I stocked up all my empty products, ready to talk about what ones were amazing and which ones completely sucked.
Fortunately, I stockpiled the empty container of every beauty-related product I used throughout my sophomore year of college, eventually bagging them up and taking them home, only for them to be thrown in the back of my closet, hoping one day I’d get around to using them for something. It was either that or I’d Spring Clean my room and they would find their way to the recycling bin. Now, I can review and recycle, putting my opinions out there and cleaning up the mess that is my lotion and shampoo bottle filled closet.
“The Beauty Review” will not solely be limited to my reviews, and it will not just cover beauty products. Instead, “The Beauty Review” will cover all the bases, including make-up, hair products, skin care, and other beauty-related items. You’ll also get opinions from the entire team, each person writing their own post, reviewing their own products. I know I personally have a few tried-and-trues that I will always repurchase, but wouldn’t it be boring if you only ever heard about my love for OGX shampoo and conditioner? That’s why the whole team will jump on board, sharing once their empties pile has gotten to be just a bit too obnoxious. We can’t wait to share our opinions with you! Until then, stay fabulous!
