Beating the Winter Blues with Music

With the last article that was published being about the Winter Blues, I figured I would write one as well to keep the theme going. I also wanted to help to ring in the spring-time with a little bit more pep than "yay, it's not fucking snowing anymore" or "when will all this white bullshit melt?" I feel as though the more positive we all are, the faster these next 10 wintery days will go and the faster the warm will come.

So despite losing an hour that we could use sleeping and half of us getting up when it's dark, there's still a lot to be appreciative of. Like the fact that warmer weather IS coming and that maybe, after all, Mother Nature doesn't completely hate us. That all this white bullshit is almost gone, and that the sunshine is finally feeling as warm as it looks!

With that, I am giving you the first of many playlists from the Always a Lady blog. This one is a compilation of the songs I've been listening to in order to get through the last few months/weeks of Winter. This playing can be found under "AaL- Beat These Winter Blues" on Spotify. Feel free to go follow it as there may be some songs added. But in case you don't have Spotify (which you should, it's fabulous), below is the list of songs. That way you can download them to iTunes or wherever you like to get your music (I download for free from YouTube via www.youtube-mp3.org, I will include Youtube links as well if this is your method, all will be audio suitable for the YouTube converter, that way you only get the song).

So let's get this show on the road shall we? Here are your tunes to help you "beat those Winter Blues," get ready to dance around your room (if you don't then you're doing it wrong):
